Wisconsin has the opportunity to be a national leader in the use of plant and animal based materials to produce fuels and products that successfully compete with fossil based petrochemicals in quality, cost and minimal adverse environmental impact.
The Consortium on Biobased Industry has been created to help state leaders design and put in place the policies and programs that focus the talents of Wisconsin businesses, educational institutions and its skilled labor force to turn that vision of leadership into reality.
This web site is intended to inform all those interested of the progress of the Consortium. All documents created for and by the Consortium will be posted here.
